Responsibilities
- Assist providers with patient examinations and procedures
- Perform vital signs and basic EKGs
- Prepare and maintain exam rooms and medical supplies
- Handle patient scheduling and medical record documentation
- Administer injections and medications per protocol
- Collect and process lab specimens
- Provide patient education on treatment plans
Qualifications
- Active Medical Assistant certification (CMA, RMA, or NCMA)
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience
- Current BLS/CPR certification
- Proficiency with EHR systems (Epic, NextGen, etc.)
- Strong communication and patient care skills
- Ability to work flexible shifts including evenings/weekends
- New Mexico state license (if applicable)
