Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic laboratory tests and analyze patient samples with precision
- Operate advanced medical equipment including analyzers and imaging devices
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation following HIPAA guidelines
- Collaborate with overnight nursing staff to coordinate patient care
- Respond to emergency situations calmly and efficiently
- Calibrate and maintain laboratory equipment per quality standards
- Assist with specimen processing and inventory management
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Medical Technology or related field (required)
- Current Missouri Medical Technician license (required)
- 1+ years of clinical laboratory experience (preferred)
- BLS/CPR certification (required)
- Ability to work independently during overnight hours
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Flexibility to adapt to changing patient needs
- Pass background check and drug screening
