Responsibilities
- Administer medications and treatments under physician supervision
- Monitor patient vitals and document clinical observations
- Assist with emergency procedures during overnight shifts
- Prepare examination rooms and maintain sterile environments
- Coordinate patient care with overnight nursing staff
- Handle laboratory specimens and basic diagnostic tests
- Provide patient education on treatment plans
Qualifications
- Active Medical Assistant certification (CMA or RMA)
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience in hospital/urgent care
- BLS/CPR certification required
- Ability to work independently during overnight hours
- Strong attention to detail in documentation
- Experience with EMR systems (Epic preferred)
- Flexibility to cover rotating night shifts
