Responsibilities
- Monitor server health, network traffic, and system performance to ensure 99.9% uptime during night operations.
- Resolve incoming helpdesk tickets and technical support requests with a focus on speed and accuracy.
- Execute routine system backups, patch management, and security updates independently.
- Document all system incidents, resolutions, and maintenance activities in the ticketing system.
- Collaborate with Day Shift leadership to ensure smooth handoffs of critical issues.
- Perform hardware installation, configuration, and troubleshooting for on-site equipment.
- Maintain a secure and organized technical workspace.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate degree in Computer Science or Information Technology preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in IT support, helpdesk, or technical troubleshooting.
- Must be available to work rotating night shifts (e.g., 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM).
- Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, and TCP/IP networking.
- Proficiency in remote desktop tools and ticketing systems (e.g., Jira, ServiceNow).
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
