Why this role is urgent: Our current DevOps team is expanding to support three major product launches Q4. We need an expert who can hit the ground running and accelerate our cloud transformation initiative.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable CI/CD pipelines using AWS and Kubernetes
- Lead cloud infrastructure optimization (cost/performance/security)
- Automate infrastructure-as-code using Terraform and Ansible
- Implement robust monitoring solutions with Prometheus and Grafana
- Collaborate with SRE and development teams on incident response
- Mentor junior engineers through pair programming and code reviews
- Drive security best practices across cloud environments
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in DevOps/Cloud Engineering
- Expertise in AWS (EC2, S3, Lambda, EKS) and container orchestration
- Strong proficiency in IaC tools (Terraform, CloudFormation)
- Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI)
- Knowledge of infrastructure monitoring and observability
- Strong problem-solving skills in complex distributed systems
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
