Responsibilities
- Assist physicians with patient examinations and procedures
- Prepare and administer medications per physician orders
- Perform EKGs, vital signs, and point-of-care testing
- Manage electronic health records (EHR) accurately
- Coordinate patient flow and triage urgent cases
- Prepare exam rooms and sterilize equipment
- Provide patient education on treatment plans
Qualifications
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA)
- Current BLS/CPR certification
- 1+ years clinical experience in urgent care or fast-paced setting
- Proficiency in EHR systems (Epic/NextGen preferred)
- Exceptional communication and multitasking skills
- Ability to work flexible shifts including evenings/weekends
- TX state MA license or eligible for immediate application
