Responsibilities
- Operate Material Handling Equipment: Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other machinery to move materials throughout the facility.
- Inventory Management: Perform regular stock counts, verify incoming and outgoing shipments, and maintain accurate inventory records.
- Shipping and Receiving: Pack, label, and prepare products for shipment using appropriate packaging materials and carriers.
- Quality Control: Inspect products for damage and ensure they meet quality standards before dispatch.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies to maintain a safe working environment.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with team leads and colleagues to ensure efficient workflow and timely order fulfillment.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED: Minimum education requirement.
- Previous Warehouse Experience: 1+ years of experience in a logistics or supply chain role is preferred.
- Forklift Certification: Valid certification is a plus but not always required for training.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Reliable Transportation: Must have reliable transportation to and from work.
- Attention to Detail: Strong organizational skills with a focus on accuracy.
