Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging technologies, societal shifts, and market trends to develop 5-10 year strategic foresight frameworks
- Lead scenario planning workshops for executive leadership to prepare for 2026+ business landscapes
- Design and implement innovation pipelines translating future insights into R&D priorities
- Partner with product teams to integrate predictive analytics into development roadmaps
- Deliver compelling strategic narratives to stakeholders through executive presentations and whitepapers
- Monitor global innovation ecosystems and identify disruptive threats/opportunities
- Mentor junior futurists and build foresight capabilities across the organization
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Technology Strategy, or related field (Master's or PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or technology planning
- Proven track record of developing and implementing future-oriented business strategies
- Deep expertise in AI/ML, biotech, quantum computing, or climate tech ecosystems
- Exceptional data modeling and scenario planning capabilities
- Experience presenting to C-suite and board-level stakeholders
- Published thought leadership in futurism or technology strategy publications
- Certification in Strategic Foresight or Innovation Management preferred
