Responsibilities
- Lead strategic foresight initiatives focused on 2026+ market trends and technological disruptions
- Develop comprehensive scenario plans and roadmaps for future business evolution
- Conduct deep-dive research on emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech)
- Collaborate with R&D teams to integrate future-focused innovations into product development
- Present strategic recommendations to executive leadership and stakeholders
- Build and maintain a network of industry futurists, academics, and thought leaders
- Drive innovation workshops and hackathons to foster future-oriented thinking
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Strategic Foresight, Business Innovation, or related field (PhD preferred)
- Minimum 7 years of experience in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurist roles
- Proven track record of developing and implementing future-focused strategies
- Expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and horizon scanning methodologies
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to articulate complex future scenarios
- Proficiency in strategic foresight tools (e.g., Delphi method, STEEP analysis)
- Deep knowledge of emerging technologies and their business implications
- Portfolio demonstrating previous futurist projects or strategic foresight work
