Responsibilities
- Scan global technology, economic, and social signals to identify disruptive forces by 2026
- Develop quantitative/qualitative scenario models for strategic decision-making
- Design multi-year innovation roadmaps aligned with future market shifts
- Present future insights to executive leadership and board members
- Lead cross-functional workshops to embed foresight into product development
- Produce high-impact trend reports and thought leadership content
- Partner with R&D teams to prototype solutions for future markets
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 7+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurist research
- Proven track record of developing future-focused roadmaps for Fortune 500 companies
- Expertise in horizon scanning methodologies (e.g., Delphi, STEEP analysis)
- Strong data visualization skills with proficiency in tools like Tableau or R
- Exceptional storytelling ability to translate complex futures into actionable insights
- Published thought leadership in futurism or strategic planning
- Experience with AI/ML tools for trend prediction and scenario modeling
