As a key member of our Future Labs division, you'll collaborate with C-suite executives, R&D teams, and global partners to anticipate paradigm shifts in AI, biotechnology, and sustainable systems. Your insights will directly shape our product development, investment decisions, and market positioning for the next decade.
Responsibilities
- Conduct horizon-scanning research to identify disruptive technologies and societal trends through 2030
- Develop strategic foresight frameworks and scenario-planning models for executive decision-making
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align organizational vision with future market opportunities
- Author compelling future-state reports and whitepapers for internal and external stakeholders
- Design and implement innovation pipelines translating foresight into actionable business strategies
- Represent the organization at global futurist conferences and thought leadership forums
- Mentor junior futurists and build foresight capabilities across departments
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Technology Forecasting, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years of experience in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or technology trend analysis
- Proven track record of developing and implementing future-focused business strategies
- Deep expertise in exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional systems thinking and scenario modeling capabilities
- Published thought leadership in futurism or strategic planning (articles, books, reports)
- Strong stakeholder management skills with executive-level presentation experience
- Certification in strategic foresight (e.g., from AC/FS or similar institution) required
