Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the company's 2026 innovation strategy by analyzing emerging technologies, market shifts, and societal trends
- Lead cross-functional teams to prototype and launch future-focused initiatives with measurable impact
- Conduct horizon scanning and scenario planning to identify disruptive opportunities and threats
- Present strategic foresight insights to C-suite executives and board members with data-driven recommendations
- Establish partnerships with research labs, startups, and academic institutions to accelerate innovation
- Mentor internal stakeholders on future-thinking methodologies and strategic foresight frameworks
- Drive culture change to embed innovation and adaptability across organizational DNA
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic planning, innovation management, or futurist consulting with Fortune 500 experience
- Proven track record of translating future trends into successful commercial initiatives
- Expertise in horizon scanning, scenario planning, and strategic foresight methodologies
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) and their societal impacts
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to articulate complex concepts to diverse audiences
- Advanced degree in strategic foresight, innovation management, or related field
- Published thought leadership in future studies or innovation trends
- Experience leading cross-functional teams through ambiguous transformation projects
