- Analyze emerging tech/socioeconomic trends to build 2026 innovation frameworks
- Develop strategic roadmaps for quantum computing, AI ethics, and biotech convergence
- Lead cross-functional teams to prototype future-focused solutions
- Present foresight findings to board members and investors quarterly
- Forge strategic partnerships with academic institutions and innovation labs
- Manage $5M+ annual innovation budget allocation
- Author annual 'State of the Future' industry whitepapers
Qualifications
- 8+ years in strategic planning or futurist roles within tech/consulting
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or related field
- Proven track record of commercializing emerging technologies
- Expertise in scenario planning and trend impact modeling
- Published thought leadership in futurism or innovation (required)
- Experience with venture capital or corporate innovation labs
- Proficiency in foresight tools (e.g., Horizon Scanning, Delphi Method)
- Exceptional communication skills for executive storytelling
