Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis to identify disruptive forces impacting 2026+ markets
- Develop and implement strategic innovation frameworks for long-term business resilience
- Champion cross-functional 'Future Labs' to prototype solutions for emerging challenges
- Author annual Future State reports and strategic briefings for executive/board audiences
- Partner with product teams to integrate foresight into development lifecycles
- Manage innovation incubation pipeline with stage-gate processes
- Represent company at global futurism and technology foresight forums
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic innovation, R&D leadership, or futurism consulting
- Proven track record of translating future insights into commercial products
- Deep expertise in emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech)
- Strong background in scenario planning and systemic risk assessment
- Experience building and leading high-impact innovation teams
- Published thought leadership in futurism or innovation management
- Advanced degree in Strategic Foresight, Innovation Management, or related field
- Certification in Futures Studies or Innovation Methodology preferred
