In this pivotal position, you'll collaborate with C-suite executives, R&D teams, and global partners to anticipate paradigm shifts in AI, biotech, climate tech, and human augmentation. You'll translate complex future scenarios into actionable strategies while fostering a culture of innovation that keeps us ahead of the curve.
Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging technologies, geopolitical shifts, and socioeconomic trends to identify disruptive opportunities for 2026+
- Develop and publish horizon-scanning reports on AI governance, neurotech integration, and sustainable innovation
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align stakeholders on future-proof strategic priorities
- Design speculative scenarios for climate adaptation and human-machine symbiosis
- Partner with venture capital arm to evaluate emerging startups in quantum computing and synthetic biology
- Represent company at Davos, SXSW, and global futurist forums
- Mentor R&D teams in ethical innovation frameworks for next-gen technologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation management, or future studies
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field
- Published thought leadership on AI ethics or climate tech adaptation
- Experience with scenario planning tools (e.g., STEEP analysis, Delphi method)
- Deep expertise in exponential technologies (quantum, biotech, AGI)
- Track record advising Fortune 500 boards on transformational strategy
- Strong network with futurist communities (e.g., Association of Professional Futurists)
- Portfolio of future-proofing projects for Fortune 100 companies
