Responsibilities
- Develop and implement multi-year strategic innovation frameworks aligned with 2026+ technological trends
- Lead cross-functional teams to prototype and scale breakthrough solutions in AI, biotech, and clean energy
- Conduct horizon scanning and trend analysis to identify disruptive opportunities and threats
- Forge strategic partnerships with research institutions, startups, and industry leaders
- Present future scenarios to C-suite executives and board members to drive data-driven decisions
- Champion a culture of experimentation and rapid iteration across the organization
- Secure and manage R&D budgets for high-impact innovation initiatives
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Innovation, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic planning, innovation management, or futurist consulting
- Proven track record of launching successful future-oriented products or services
- Deep expertise in emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional storytelling and presentation skills for complex future scenarios
- Experience managing multi-million dollar innovation budgets
- Certification in strategic foresight (e.g., CFPC, APF) strongly preferred
- Portfolio demonstrating published future trend analyses or innovation frameworks
