Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive 2026-2030 technology foresight framework using horizon scanning, trend analysis, and scenario planning
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype and validate breakthrough concepts in emerging domains
- Produce executive-ready strategic briefings and roadmaps for Board and stakeholder alignment
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions, startups, and government agencies for R&D collaboration
- Drive cultural transformation initiatives to embed innovation methodologies across 500+ employees
- Monitor geopolitical, regulatory, and societal shifts impacting technology adoption landscapes
- Lead the annual 'Future Horizons' conference series featuring industry pioneers
Qualifications
- 15+ years in strategic innovation, technology forecasting, or R&D leadership with Fortune 500 or high-growth startups
- Proven track record of launching market-defining products/services from concept to commercialization
- Expertise in emerging technologies: quantum computing, generative AI, biotech, or space systems
- Advanced degree in Technology Management, Futures Studies, Engineering, or MBA with innovation focus
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., AC/FS, CFSD) or equivalent practical experience
- Exceptional storytelling abilities with experience presenting to C-suite and government bodies
- Portfolio demonstrating successful trend-to-innovation pipeline with measurable ROI
- Fluency in strategic frameworks: STEEP analysis, Delphi method, Technology Readiness Levels
