Responsibilities
- Analyze global technological, economic, and social trends to forecast 2026+ market landscapes
- Develop and maintain multi-year innovation roadmaps aligned with long-term organizational vision
- Lead scenario planning workshops to prepare for disruptive futures and black swan events
- Partner with product teams to embed future-ready principles into development lifecycles
- Present strategic foresight insights to executive stakeholders and board members
- Identify and evaluate emerging technologies for strategic investment opportunities
- Build cross-functional coalitions to drive adoption of future-oriented initiatives
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation management, or futurist consulting
- Proven track record of translating future insights into executable business strategies
- Expertise in trend analysis, scenario planning, and horizon scanning methodologies
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, biotech, quantum computing)
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to articulate complex futures compellingly
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Management, or related field
- Experience presenting to C-suite executives and influencing high-stakes decisions
- Portfolio demonstrating successful future-oriented projects and impact
