Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging tech trends (AI, biotech, quantum computing) and societal shifts to map 3-5 year innovation horizons
- Develop scenario-planning frameworks for board-level strategic decisions
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate foresight into R&D priorities
- Produce white papers and thought leadership on future-proofing business models
- Advise product teams on integrating exponential technologies
- Build and maintain a global network of futurists and domain experts
- Measure impact of innovation initiatives against KPIs
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years in innovation strategy, consulting, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of publishing future-focused research or frameworks
- Deep expertise in at least two exponential technologies (AI, quantum, biotech, etc.)
- Exceptional systems thinking and scenario-planning skills
- Experience advising C-suite on technology disruption
- Strong presentation skills for executive audiences
- Portfolio of strategic foresight projects or published works
