Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis to identify emerging technologies, societal shifts, and market disruptions by 2026
- Develop strategic foresight frameworks and scenario-planning models for C-suite decision-making
- Architect innovation roadmaps integrating AI, quantum computing, and sustainable tech ecosystems
- Facilitate cross-functional workshops to align stakeholders on future-state opportunities
- Author thought leadership publications and presentations at global innovation forums
- Partner with R&D to prototype future-facing solutions and validate market readiness
- Monitor geopolitical and macroeconomic variables impacting 2026 strategic priorities
Qualifications
- Master's or PhD in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Innovation Management, or related field
- 8+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurist roles at Fortune 500 firms
- Proven expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and technology impact assessment
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies (AI, biotech, quantum computing, clean energy)
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to translate complex futures into executable strategies
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., AC/FS, CFIP) preferred
- Portfolio demonstrating published foresight work or implemented future-shaping initiatives
