Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning initiatives to identify disruptive technologies and societal shifts impacting 2026-2030 landscapes
- Develop strategic foresight frameworks using scenario planning, Delphi methods, and trend impact analysis
- Design innovation roadmaps integrating quantum computing, biotech convergence, and climate adaptation technologies
- Facilitate executive workshops on future-proofing business models and workforce transformation strategies
- Author quarterly futurist briefs for C-suite and board stakeholders with data-driven trend projections
- Collaborate with R&D to prototype speculative solutions for emerging ethical and sustainability challenges
- Maintain proprietary foresight database with 10,000+ signals across 15 global innovation ecosystems
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field (PhD preferred)
- Minimum 7 years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or technology research leadership
- Portfolio demonstrating trend analysis projects with measurable business impact
- Expertise in quantitative forecasting tools (e.g., Trendalyzer, Cassandra) and qualitative research methods
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies: quantum computing, synthetic biology, AGI development
- Experience with UN SDG frameworks and ESG impact assessment methodologies
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex futures into executive narratives
- Certification in foresight methodologies (e.g., from Association of Professional Futurists)
