Responsibilities
- Analyze global megatrends, technological disruptions, and societal shifts to forecast industry trajectories through 2030
- Develop and implement innovation frameworks to identify and validate breakthrough opportunities
- Lead strategic workshops with stakeholders to align organizational vision on future scenarios
- Produce forward-looking whitepapers and trend reports influencing executive decision-making
- Partner with R&D teams to prototype and validate next-generation concepts
- Establish KPIs for innovation initiatives and track progress against future-state roadmaps
- Represent company at global futurism conferences and thought leadership forums
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Innovation Management, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years of experience in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of translating trend analysis into commercial innovation
- Expertise in scenario planning, horizon scanning, and systems thinking methodologies
- Deep knowledge of emerging technologies: AI, quantum computing, biotech, and climate tech
- Exceptional storytelling skills to communicate complex futures to diverse audiences
- Portfolio of published foresight work or implemented innovation strategies
- Experience with futures research tools (e.g., Delphi method, cross-impact matrices)
