Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive 2026+ foresight frameworks using trend analysis, scenario planning, and horizon scanning methodologies
- Lead cross-functional workshops to identify disruptive technologies and their potential business impacts
- Produce strategic white papers and executive briefings on emerging megatrends (AI ethics, quantum computing adoption, climate resilience)
- Design and implement innovation pipelines aligned with long-term market evolution projections
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions, research consortia, and policy think tanks
- Mentor junior strategists in futures thinking methodologies and analytical techniques
- Present strategic recommendations to the Board of Directors and executive leadership team
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Innovation Management, or related field
- 5+ years in strategy consulting, R&D leadership, or corporate innovation roles
- Proven expertise in trend analysis, scenario planning, and strategic foresight methodologies
- Deep understanding of emerging technologies (quantum computing, synthetic biology, neurotech)
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to translate complex concepts for diverse audiences
- Experience leading cross-functional teams through transformational change initiatives
- Published thought leadership in futurism or innovation strategy (preferred)
- Certification in strategic foresight (e.g., from APF or WFS) strongly preferred
