Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive 2026 foresight frameworks using horizon scanning, scenario planning, and trend analysis
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype and validate future-facing solutions
- Author strategic whitepapers and thought leadership content on emerging tech paradigms
- Establish and nurture partnerships with academic institutions, startups, and global think tanks
- Quantify market opportunities and ROI projections for breakthrough initiatives
- Present future vision to stakeholders through compelling narratives and data-driven storytelling
- Mentor junior futurists and cultivate a culture of radical innovation
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Innovation Management, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Proven expertise in emerging technologies: AI, quantum computing, biotech, or sustainable energy
- Exceptional proficiency in horizon scanning methodologies and trend analysis tools
- Demonstrated success in translating future insights into commercialized innovations
- Strong network within Silicon Valley's innovation ecosystem and global tech communities
- Exceptional communication skills with executive presence and public speaking experience
- Portfolio of published foresight work or innovation thought leadership
