Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain the 2026-2030 technology foresight framework using scenario planning and horizon scanning
- Lead cross-functional workshops to identify emerging threats and opportunities across 15+ industries
- Produce annual 'State of the Future' reports distributed to Fortune 500 partners
- Design AI-driven trend prediction models with 85%+ accuracy benchmark
- Partner with R&D to commercialize 3+ breakthrough innovations annually
- Represent Horizon Dynamics at global futurism forums (Davos, WEF, etc.)
- Mentor junior futurists through our Future Leaders program
Qualifications
- Master's or PhD in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related field
- 5+ years experience in corporate innovation or technology strategy
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ successful future-vision implementations
- Expertise in AI ethics, quantum computing, or climate tech adaptation
- Proficiency in foresight tools (e.g., Delphi method, STEEP analysis)
- Published thought leadership in futurism/innovation (Harvard Business Review, MIT Tech Review, etc.)
- Ability to distill complex systems into actionable executive insights
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., MF from University of Houston)
