- Conduct horizon scanning for emerging technologies (quantum computing, AGI, biotech, etc.) and assess viability for adoption
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype future-forward solutions
- Establish KPIs and frameworks for measuring technology ROI and strategic impact
- Present strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders and investment committees
- Foster partnerships with academic institutions, startups, and industry consortia
- Build and lead a dedicated future technology incubation team
Qualifications
- 15+ years in strategic technology planning with 5+ years in futurism or emerging tech
- Proven track record of successfully launching disruptive tech initiatives
- Expertise in technology forecasting methodologies and scenario planning
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies and their industry applications
- Exceptional analytical skills with data-driven decision-making capabilities
- Credibility with C-suite executives and board-level communication
- Advanced degree in technology, business, or related field (PhD preferred)
