Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for optimization, cryptography, and machine learning applications
- Lead cross-functional teams to translate quantum research into scalable commercial solutions
- Develop error-correction protocols for fault-tolerant quantum systems
- Author peer-reviewed publications and patents in quantum information science
- Partner with hardware teams to co-design quantum processors and control systems
- Represent Nexus Labs at international quantum computing symposiums
- Identify and secure partnerships with quantum hardware manufacturers
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science with 5+ years industry experience
- Published research in top-tier quantum computing journals (Nature, Science, etc.)
- Proficiency in quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Deep understanding of quantum error correction and fault-tolerance techniques
- Experience with quantum hardware integration (superconducting, ion trap, photonic)
- Track record of translating theoretical concepts into working prototypes
- Strong background in linear algebra and quantum information theory
