Responsibilities
- Design scalable quantum computing architectures leveraging superconducting qubits and topological systems
- Develop quantum algorithms for optimization, simulation, and machine learning applications
- Lead quantum error correction protocol implementation for fault-tolerant systems
- Collaborate with hardware teams to integrate quantum processors with classical computing frameworks
- Establish quantum security frameworks for post-quantum cryptography solutions
- Mentor junior researchers and publish findings in peer-reviewed journals
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (Master's with 5+ years experience considered)
- Proven expertise in quantum programming languages (Q#, Quil, or Qiskit)
- Deep understanding of quantum error correction and fault-tolerant computing
- Experience with quantum annealing systems (D-Wave, Rigetti) or superconducting qubits
- Strong background in high-performance computing and parallel processing
- Published research in quantum computing or quantum information theory
