Responsibilities
- Develop 3-year technology roadmaps aligning with market trends and business objectives
- Analyze emerging technologies (quantum computing, bio-integrated systems, AI governance) for commercial viability
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate future tech concepts into actionable product features
- Partner with VC firms and startups to identify disruptive technologies for strategic acquisition
- Present future tech insights to C-suite executives and board members quarterly
- Build and manage a network of industry futurists and academic researchers
- Develop KPI frameworks to measure impact of future-tech initiatives
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, product development, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of forecasting tech trends with documented impact (e.g., published whitepapers)
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains: quantum computing, neuromorphic chips, or Web3 infrastructure
- Experience with scenario planning methodologies and technology adoption lifecycle models
- Strong analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Portfolio demonstrating past future-tech initiatives (e.g., patents, industry awards)
