Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive 2026 technology strategy roadmap aligned with business objectives and market trends
- Conduct advanced research in emerging technologies (quantum computing, AI ethics, biotech integration) and assess commercial viability
- Lead cross-functional workshops to identify innovation gaps and prioritize R&D investments
- Build strategic partnerships with academic institutions, startups, and industry consortia
- Create executive-level briefings and impact assessments for emerging technologies
- Establish KPIs to measure strategic initiatives' progress and ROI
- Represent the company at global tech summits and thought leadership forums
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, innovation management, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record in developing and implementing multi-year tech roadmaps
- Expertise in emerging technologies (quantum, AI, biotech, AR/VR)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business/Technology MBA
- Certification in technology foresight (e.g., from Foresight Practitioner Network)
- Experience with scenario planning and technology impact modeling
- Demonstrated ability to translate complex technical concepts for executive audiences
- Strong network within Silicon Valley tech ecosystem
