Responsibilities
- Lead R&D Initiatives: Spearhead the research and development of next-generation neural networks optimized for quantum processors.
- System Architecture: Design scalable, fault-tolerant architectures for large-scale AI deployments, ensuring high availability and security.
- Prototype Development: Build and iterate on proof-of-concept models that integrate deep learning with quantum error correction techniques.
- Technical Mentorship: Mentor a team of junior data scientists and quantum engineers, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous learning.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with product managers and hardware engineers to translate complex scientific concepts into market-ready features.
- Performance Optimization: Analyze and optimize algorithms for latency, throughput, and energy efficiency in real-world environments.
Qualifications
- Education: PhD in Computer Science, Physics, or a related field, with a focus on Artificial Intelligence or Quantum Computing.
- Experience: 5+ years of professional experience in software engineering, with at least 2 years specifically in machine learning or quantum simulation.
- Tech Stack: Proficiency in Python, C++, CUDA, and TensorFlow/PyTorch. Experience with Qiskit or Cirq is a significant plus.
- Problem Solving: Demonstrated ability to solve complex, unstructured problems using data-driven approaches.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of presenting technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
