Responsibilities
- Lead comprehensive horizon scanning to identify emerging technologies and market trends through 2026
- Develop and present strategic foresight reports to executive stakeholders and board members
- Design scenario-planning frameworks for potential futures in AI, biotech, and quantum computing
- Facilitate cross-functional workshops to embed future-thinking into organizational DNA
- Establish KPIs and measurement systems for tracking innovation adoption and disruption risks
- Represent the company at global futurist conferences and industry thought leadership forums
- Mentor junior analysts and build a world-class foresight research team
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Management, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years of experience in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of translating future scenarios into executable business strategies
- Deep expertise in emerging technologies (AI, Web3, biotech, climate tech)
- Exceptional storytelling and presentation skills for complex technical concepts
- Certification in strategic foresight methodologies (e.g., from Association of Professional Futurists)
- Demonstrated experience advising C-level executives on technology disruption
- Portfolio of published foresight work or successful innovation initiatives
