Responsibilities
- Lead multi-year scenario planning for 2026+ market landscapes and technological disruptions
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify emerging trends in AI, biotech, climate tech, and quantum computing
- Develop strategic roadmaps for innovation adoption and competitive positioning
- Present actionable insights to executive leadership and cross-functional stakeholders
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and industry think tanks
- Create whitepapers and thought leadership content on future-facing topics
- Mentor junior futurists and build a foresight framework across the organization
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Planning, Technology Forecasting, or related field
- 5+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or technology research
- Expertise in trend analysis, scenario planning, and systemic modeling
- Proven track record of translating foresight into business strategy
- Deep understanding of emerging technologies and their societal impacts
- Exceptional communication skills for complex technical concepts
- Certification in foresight methodologies (e.g., CFM, CFP) preferred
- Portfolio of published foresight work or strategic frameworks required
