Responsibilities
- Architect multi-year innovation roadmaps targeting 2026 market readiness
- Analyze emerging tech trends (quantum computing, synthetic biology, climate AI) to identify disruptive opportunities
- Lead 'Future Labs' incubation projects for breakthrough technologies
- Develop strategic partnerships with research institutions and tech pioneers
- Present innovation frameworks to C-suite and board stakeholders
- Build and mentor a team of futurist researchers and technology scouts
- Monitor geopolitical and regulatory shifts affecting 2026 technology landscapes
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Technology Strategy, Futures Studies, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in innovation strategy, R&D leadership, or emerging tech roles
- Proven track record of launching future-oriented products with 5+ year horizons
- Deep expertise in at least two of: AI ethics, climate tech, or biotechnology
- Exceptional systems thinking and scenario planning capabilities
- Experience securing $10M+ innovation budgets
- Published thought leadership in technology forecasting
