Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026 strategic foresight framework through horizon scanning, trend analysis, and scenario modeling
- Lead cross-functional 'Future Task Forces' to integrate foresight insights into product roadmaps and market entry strategies
- Author quarterly 'Vision Briefs' for the board and C-suite, translating complex future dynamics into executable priorities
- Establish and maintain a global network of futurists, technologists, and academic researchers to identify disruptive opportunities
- Design and facilitate immersive 'Future Workshops' for clients and stakeholders, building consensus around long-term visions
- Monitor geopolitical, technological, and societal megatrends with proprietary AI-driven analytics platforms
- Present strategic recommendations at industry conferences and publish thought leadership in top-tier publications
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futurism, Strategic Foresight, Systems Thinking, or equivalent (Ph.D. preferred)
- 10+ years experience in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurist roles with Fortune 500 companies
- Proven track record of developing and implementing multi-year strategic vision frameworks
- Expertise in trend analysis, scenario planning, and systems modeling methodologies
- Exceptional storytelling ability to translate complex future concepts into compelling narratives
- Deep knowledge of emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) and their societal impacts
- Experience leading cross-functional teams and influencing executive decision-making
- Published thought leadership in foresight or strategy publications (Harvard Business Review, MIT Sloan, etc.)
