- Forge strategic partnerships with DARPA, NASA, and academic institutions to secure exclusive innovation rights
- Present quarterly disruption briefings to C-suite and board members using predictive modeling frameworks
- Manage $5M innovation fund allocation to high-potential ventures in synthetic biology and neural interfaces
- Mentor a team of futurists and patent strategists using proprietary Horizon Innovation Methodology
Qualifications
- PhD in Futurology, Systems Engineering, or equivalent with 8+ years in strategic foresight
- Proven track record in commercializing emerging technologies (portfolio required)
- Expertise in scenario planning, patent landscaping, and technology adoption curves
- Published thought leadership in Nature Futures or MIT Technology Review
- Security clearance (or ability to obtain) for classified innovation projects
- Proficiency in foresight tools like Futures Platform and Trend Hunter
- Experience securing federal SBIR/STTR grants for disruptive R&D
