Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategic roadmaps for 2026-2030 technological adoption across enterprise divisions
- Lead scenario-planning initiatives for disruptive technologies (AI ethics, quantum integration, climate tech)
- Conduct horizon-scanning research and publish quarterly trend briefings for executive stakeholders
- Chair the 'Future Forward' innovation accelerator program with $5M annual funding
- Partner with product teams to prototype next-gen solutions for emerging markets
- Represent the company at global futurist forums and industry summits
- Mentor junior futurists and build the organization's future-focused talent pipeline
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of forecasting technology adoption with 85%+ accuracy
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or related field
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (e.g., AGI, nanotech, neurotech)
- Exceptional presentation skills for executive audiences and global forums
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed futurist journals
- Certification in Futures Methodologies (e.g., CFS, CFIP) preferred
- Experience securing $1M+ innovation budgets and managing cross-functional teams
