Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain the 2026 Strategic Foresight Framework using predictive modeling and trend analysis
- Lead cross-functional 'Future Scenarios' workshops with C-suite executives and industry disruptors
- Produce quarterly 'Horizon Briefs' on breakthrough technologies (quantum AI, neural interfaces, climate tech)
- Establish partnerships with MIT Media Lab, Singularity University, and DARPA innovation hubs
- Design ethical governance protocols for autonomous systems and human augmentation technologies
- Present strategic roadmaps to investors and board members with data-driven impact projections
- Mentor a team of futurist researchers and scenario planning specialists
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or emerging tech strategy
- Proven track record of influencing multi-year corporate roadmaps for Fortune 500 companies
- Expertise in horizon scanning, Delphi methodology, and causal layered analysis
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, biotech, quantum computing)
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed futurist journals or major industry platforms
- Experience with scenario planning tools (e.g., Causal Layered Analysis, STEEP-V)
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ successful future-strategy implementations
