Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive 2026 strategic foresight frameworks using trend analysis, scenario planning, and horizon scanning
- Lead cross-functional workshops to synthesize technological, economic, and sociocultural data into actionable insights
- Produce high-impact reports and visualizations communicating future implications to stakeholders
- Identify and evaluate emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) with 2026 commercialization potential
- Partner with product teams to integrate future scenarios into innovation pipelines
- Establish early-warning systems for disruptive market shifts and regulatory changes
- Mentor junior futurists and build internal foresight capabilities across departments
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Strategic Foresight, Innovation Management, Technology Forecasting, or related field
- 5+ years experience in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurist roles
- Expertise in trend analysis, scenario planning methodologies, and horizon scanning tools
- Proven track record translating future insights into business strategy and product roadmaps
- Deep understanding of emerging technologies (AI, Web3, biotech, climate tech)
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to present complex concepts to diverse audiences
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., CFIP) or innovation frameworks preferred
- Portfolio demonstrating 2026+ foresight projects or published thought leadership
