Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging tech trends, geopolitical shifts, and consumer behavior patterns to forecast 2026 market landscapes
- Develop multi-year strategic roadmaps aligning with long-term vision and quarterly objectives
- Lead cross-functional workshops to ideate future product ecosystems and service innovations
- Present compelling futures scenarios to C-suite executives and Board stakeholders
- Partner with R&D to prototype and validate breakthrough concepts for 2026 deployment
- Author thought leadership publications and keynote speeches at industry summits
- Monitor competitor disruption vectors and recommend defensive/offensive strategies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategy consulting, innovation, or futures research with Fortune 500 exposure
- Proven track record of developing and executing 5+ year strategic plans
- Expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and horizon scanning methodologies
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech)
- Exceptional storytelling skills with experience presenting to executive audiences
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Business Strategy, or relevant technical field
- Published author or speaker at Davos, CES, or equivalent high-impact forums
- Portfolio of successful future-back innovation initiatives
