Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive 2026+ strategic roadmaps using horizon scanning and trend analysis
- Lead cross-functional workshops to identify disruptive technologies and market opportunities
- Produce scenario-based forecasting reports for executive decision-making
- Partner with R&D teams to integrate future-focused innovations into product roadmaps
- Monitor global macro-trends (AI, climate, geopolitics) and translate implications
- Present strategic recommendations to board members and senior leadership
- Mentor junior strategists in future-thinking methodologies
Qualifications
- 8+ years in strategic planning, futurism, or innovation consulting
- Proven expertise in horizon scanning and trend forecasting methodologies
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Management, or related field
- Deep understanding of emerging technologies (quantum computing, AGI, biotech)
- Exceptional data visualization and scenario-building capabilities
- Experience presenting to C-suite and board-level stakeholders
- Certification in strategic foresight or futures analysis (preferred)
- Portfolio demonstrating 5+ future-focused strategic projects
