Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning initiatives to identify disruptive technologies and market shifts impacting 2026+ landscapes
- Develop and publish annual 'Future State' frameworks guiding R&D and product roadmaps
- Partner with C-suite executives to embed future-proofing principles across organizational strategy
- Design scenario-planning models for emerging domains: quantum computing, neurotech, and climate AI
- Present trend briefings to investors, partners, and cross-functional innovation teams
- Curate and manage an emerging-tech intelligence pipeline with global research networks
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Technology Strategy, or equivalent experience
- 5+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or emerging-tech analysis
- Proven track record of translating trend insights into commercial opportunities
- Expertise in forecasting methodologies (Delphi, Horizon Scanning, Cross-Impact Matrices)
- Deep understanding of exponential tech domains: AGI, biocomputing, and spatial internet
- Exceptional storytelling skills for complex futures concepts to diverse stakeholders
- Published thought leadership in futurism/innovation publications
