Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging technologies, societal shifts, and market disruptions to forecast 2026 industry landscapes
- Develop strategic roadmaps for product innovation and market expansion based on future trend analysis
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align leadership on long-term vision and tactical implementation
- Produce high-impact foresight reports and scenario planning frameworks for executive stakeholders
- Identify and evaluate disruptive startups, technologies, and partnerships for strategic acquisition
- Represent the company at global futurist conferences and thought leadership forums
- Mentor junior strategists and build a robust foresight methodology within the organization
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurist research
- Proven track record of translating trend analysis into commercial success
- Expertise in scenario planning, horizon scanning, and systems thinking
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech)
- Exceptional communication skills with executive presence and presentation mastery
- Published thought leadership in futurism or strategic foresight
