Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain a 2026 strategic foresight framework using trend analysis, scenario planning, and horizon scanning
- Lead cross-functional workshops to identify disruptive opportunities and mitigate existential risks
- Produce quarterly executive briefings on emerging technologies and societal shifts with quantified impact assessments
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions, government labs, and innovation hubs
- Design and launch pilot initiatives to validate future-focused business models and technologies
- Mentor a high-performance team of futurists and data scientists
- Present strategic recommendations to the board and executive leadership with data-backed narratives
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic planning, innovation management, or futures research
- Expertise in forecasting methodologies (Delphi, causal layered analysis, etc.)
- Proven track record of translating foresight into commercial opportunities
- Advanced degree in strategic foresight, technology management, or related field
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional storytelling and executive presentation skills
- Experience managing remote global teams and diverse stakeholders
- Portfolio of published foresight work or implemented strategic initiatives
