Responsibilities
- Conduct horizon-scanning research on emerging technologies, societal shifts, and market disruptors through 2026
- Develop and maintain the '2026 Strategic Roadmap' with quantifiable future scenarios
- Lead cross-functional workshops to embed futurist thinking into product development and business strategy
- Author compelling foresight reports translating complex trends into actionable business insights
- Collaborate with C-suite executives to align organizational strategy with long-term future trajectories
- Build and manage a network of futurist thought leaders and industry pioneers
- Monitor and analyze global signals from biotech, AI, climate tech, and social evolution domains
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years experience in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurist research
- Proven track record of translating foresight into successful business strategies
- Deep expertise in exponential technologies and their societal implications
- Exceptional storytelling skills with ability to communicate complex futures to diverse stakeholders
- Strong analytical capabilities with data-driven scenario modeling experience
- Certification in strategic foresight (e.g., from APF or WFS) highly desirable
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ future-strategy implementations with measurable impact
