Responsibilities
- Develop 2026+ strategic roadmaps using predictive analytics and trend forecasting
- Lead cross-functional workshops to map emerging technologies to business opportunities
- Author quarterly future-state briefings for C-suite and board stakeholders
- Establish innovation partnerships with leading research institutions and startups
- Quantify market readiness for breakthrough technologies (quantum computing, biotech, AI)
- Design scenario-planning frameworks for geopolitical and economic volatility
- Mentor junior futurists and build foresight capabilities across departments
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or future-focused R&D
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Technology Forecasting, or related field
- Published thought leadership on emerging tech trends (e.g., AI, quantum, neurotech)
- Expertise in scenario planning, Delphi methods, and horizon scanning
- Proven track record translating foresight into commercial products/services
- Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI) and predictive modeling
- Strong network with futurist communities and innovation thought leaders
