- Lead cross-functional workshops to align stakeholders on future-proof strategies
- Produce annual 'Future State' reports quantifying market opportunities and risks
- Partner with R&D to prototype emerging technologies (AI, quantum, biotech)
- Establish KPIs for future readiness across product development and operations
- Represent the company at global futurism conferences and thought leadership forums
- Mentor teams in futures-thinking methodologies and strategic foresight
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic planning, innovation management, or futurism
- Proven track record of developing long-term (5+ year) strategic frameworks
- Expertise in emerging technologies (AI, blockchain, neurotech) and societal trends
- Experience with scenario planning tools (e.g., STEEP, Delphi method)
- Strong data visualization skills for communicating complex future scenarios
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related field
- Published thought leadership on technological or societal transformation
- Exceptional presentation skills for executive and board-level audiences
