Job Summary
The Weekend Warehouse Associate will be responsible for ensuring the efficient flow of goods within our facility. You will play a critical role in inventory accuracy, order fulfillment, and maintaining a safe, organized workspace. Your attention to detail and work ethic will directly impact our customer satisfaction rates.
Responsibilities
- Load, unload, and transport materials within the warehouse using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
- Verify incoming and outgoing shipments against bills of lading to ensure accuracy.
- Package, label, and prepare shipments for delivery to customers and distribution centers.
- Conduct regular inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies with inventory management systems.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area in compliance with OSHA safety standards.
- Assist in organizing warehouse aisles and storage zones to optimize workflow efficiency.
- Communicate effectively with team leads regarding daily production targets and potential issues.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics, or manufacturing environment is preferred but not mandatory.
- Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Basic computer literacy and ability to operate handheld scanners or warehouse management software.
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
- Reliable transportation to and from the workplace.
- Forklift certification (Class A or B) is a plus but we offer training for qualified candidates.
