Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain computer systems, networks, and peripherals to ensure optimal performance.
- Troubleshoot hardware and software issues for internal staff with a focus on weekend urgency.
- Perform system backups, updates, and security patches during off-peak hours.
- Manage and resolve incoming IT help tickets with a high level of customer service.
- Conduct routine hardware inspections and coordinate repairs with vendors.
- Document technical issues and resolutions in the central knowledge base.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in IT or related field preferred.
- 1-3 years of experience in technical support, IT helpdesk, or similar roles.
- Strong knowledge of Windows and Mac operating systems, network protocols, and troubleshooting.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with diverse teams.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently during the assigned weekend shifts.
- Professional certification (CompTIA A+, Network+) is a plus but not mandatory.
