Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care including bathing, feeding, and medication administration
- Monitor vital signs and document patient health status accurately
- Assist with mobility transfers and use of medical equipment
- Collaborate with nursing staff to implement care plans
- Maintain clean, organized patient environments and safety protocols
- Respond promptly to patient call lights and emergencies
- Complete detailed shift reports and maintain confidential records
Qualifications
- Current Florida CNA or HHA certification required
- Minimum 1 year healthcare experience preferred
- Weekend availability mandatory (Sat/Sun shifts)
- Valid CPR/First Aid certification
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand for extended periods
- Proficient in electronic health record systems
- Background check and drug screening required
